Crafting an Empowering Style, Image, and Brand can be Difficult, But You Don't Have to Do it Alone.
Personal style, image, and brand are among the most commonly overlooked aspects of being a business professional. I get it. We’ve been taught that as long as we’re put together enough and our message is powerful, everything should work out fine— sadly that’s not always the case.
I’ve been a stylist for 30 years. I’ve heard hundreds of stories from friends, entrepreneurial colleagues, and clients who’ve come to me with their heads hung low after a disappointing event, asking, “Is it my style?” Most of the time, their Style, Image, and Brand challenges are multifaceted and boil down to not knowing what they don’t know – this is where I come in!
Here are some of the everyday struggles I help clients solve.
- Incongruent – Not knowing how to present their unique value and message with their style
- Inconsistency – Changing how you present yourself in persona and online frequently can confuse your audience and weaken your brand.
- Ignoring Personal Style – Trying to emulate others’ styles can make you feel uncomfortable and inauthentic.
- Finding Balance – Finding the right balance between personal and professional image can sometimes be tricky.
- Knowing Current Day Styles – The style landscape constantly evolves, making it tough to stay current. For example, the 1980s Dynasty fashion is out, but other 1980s fashion is in!
- Following Trends Blindly – Not all trends suit everyone, and following them without consideration can lead to a mismatched wardrobe.
- Poor Color Coordination – Wearing colors that don’t complement each other or your skin tone can detract from your overall look.
- Not Dressing for Your Body Type – Wearing clothes that don’t flatter your body shape can affect your confidence.
- Ignoring Fit and Tailoring – Ill-fitting clothes can ruin even the most stylish outfits.
- Lack of Versatility – Having items that only work for specific occasions can limit your outfit options
- Over-Accessorizing – Too many accessories can overwhelm your outfit.
- Neglecting Footwear – Shoes can make or break an outfit, and ignoring them can undermine your style.
- Overstuffed Closet – Having too many clothes can make it hard to find what you need
I have had the honor of helping numerous successful but overwhelmed business professionals (speakers, educators, coaches, authors, and C-Suite executives) solve these common problems.
I would be thrilled to do the same with you.
